The photo below shows the shades that I used for this eye look. For a look with such sizzle, I really only used three shades from the Oh So Special Palette. I used Bow, a light beige with a matte finish, Gateau, a light pink-peach with shimmer, and Glitz, a deep gunmetal grey with shimmmer.
I used Bow as the highlight shade, Gateau on the lid, and Glitz on the contour area, blended into the outer third of the lid. For some reason, Gateau looks more peach than pink on me, but I suppose that's the thing with these peachy-pink kind of colours. Sometimes they lean more peach, sometimes they lean more pink.
I really like this look, and to me, it kind of looks a little bit moody - sort of like the dark grey rain clouds are encroaching upon spaces of sunny skies. It kind of reminds me of when the weather is just turning bad, and you're trying to rush indoors just in time before a sudden storm. Or even the grey skies of autumn eclipsing the bright days of summer. It reminds me of moody, unpredictable weather, I guess!
All in all, I really like this look and I love the contrst of the peach and the grey. Looking at these photos makes me feel like I'd be underutilizing my Oh So Special Palette if it was only used for safe, neutral looks!
