The K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner has really pretty packaging, doesn't it? But of course what we are interested in is the actual product! The eyeliner pen itself doesn't look any different, still the same slim black pen.
Here's a closer look at the pen tip. This is a flexible felt tip, which I always personally find a little tricky to use, but that is pretty popular, especially for the kitten-flick or cat eye look.
Below is some of the doodling I did with the K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner. The colour is Super Black (Waterproof), and it was really super black. The lines below are just one swipe each. You can see the thin, fine lines you can draw with this eyeliner. I've put a cotton bud beside the lines for size comparison.
I tested out the eyeliner's longevity. After the eyeliner has dried, I ran my hand under running water. Nothing happened. So I put my hand under running water, and I rubbed it. Hard. And part of the doodles I made came out. You can see from the photos below. Not bad at all, given the vigorous rubbing I was doing...I'm pretty sure noone in real life would rub their eyes that hard! I'd recommend you remove the makeup with a good makeup remover.
So would I recommend this product? If you're looking for an eyeliner that has good staying power, has great pigmentation, and that has a good pen tip, this is worth checking out.

can you maybe try the liner on your actual eye again and wear it for a day?skin on your arm is completely different than on your eye and sweats and oils differently as well. i bought at least 25waterproof extra staying power whatevers and tried them on my arm -they stayed or days, but never worked on my lid and i looked like a raccoon after 3hours...
ReplyDelete@the hair nerd: Yes I do intend to do that - it's just that it will take a longer time for me to try it on my eye, and I wanted to give you guys some quick and dirty swatches first! But you're right, products on the eyes definitely wear differently than on the skin. Since I was able to rub this off underwater (albeit with great force), I wouldn't expect this to stay forever on my eyes. Perhaps I'd use it for days where I'm not expecting to sweat a lot.
DeleteThe last time round when I tried this it didn't last on my eye lids, I wonder if it will last this time around. Curse my oily lids.
ReplyDeleteI love this eyeliner! Goes on super-thin and lasts ALL DAY! And I have oily lids. It does not rinse off with water. I do need a heavy-duty remover... but that is a small price to pay for liner perfection!
