Beauty Clinic 2 Step Ampoule Mask Review: Trouble Smart Laser and Hydra Smart Filler Masks:

I'm usually a person whos in a hurry with my skincare - if I have to wait forever for it to sink in/absorb/massage in, it's not a product I generally would use very often. The exception to that rule are face masks, which I love because it just feels so pampering and luxurious. And what's more luxurious than a face mask? A two-step face mask! Beauty Clinic has a series of 2-Step Ampoule Masks, which target various skin concerns (whitening, troubled skin, hydration, and so on).

I've tried Beauty Clinic before when they were known as Leader's Clinic, and I had generally very favourable impressions of the masks. So naturally, I expected to like the Beauty Clinic masks too, and I wasn't wrong. I tried the 2 Step Trouble Smart Laser Mask (which is meant for problematic pimply skin), as well as the 2 Step Hydra Smart Filler Mask (for hydration).

Since it's a two-step mask, you have to apply a Mask Base Ampoule first. The Mask Base Ampoule sachet can be detached from the rest of the mask, and you just open it and apply it on your face. It feels like a light serum; not quite watery, but not thick or creamy either. Some massage is needed to get the mask base to be absorbed into the skin.

The Trouble Smart Laser Mask was actually very interesting - the mask itself is black, alhtough the serum inside the mask was clear. When I first pulled out the mask sheet, I was totally not expecting this, but it certainly looks very cool. The serum is actually quite light, and after I used the mask the serum didnt feel heavy or sticky, and I was actually quite comfortable sitting around at home leaving the serum on my skin after that, although I don't think I would be able to apply make

The Hydra Smart Filler Mask also comems with a similar Mask Base Ampoule. I'm not sure if the Mask Base Ampoule is the same for both masks, but it seemed like it, from the texture, smell, and appearance.

The Hydra Smart Filler Mask has a white mask sheet with a clear serum liquid. Once again, I found the mask pleasant to use because the serum is very light and comfortable, instead of being thick and heavy like some other mask serums. I also found that it did hydrate my skin quite nicely after use.

Overall, I was quite happy with the masks. They are good masks that offer good hydration, and are effective while still being light. If you are looking for such masks, then this is up your alley.

  2. Its actually amazing. I just tried one yesterday. The green one.
After two weeks of intense stress during my finals, my eyes were completely sunken and my face was full of pimples. I exfoliated my face with sulphur soap and applied the mask. After removing the mask i noticed an immediate difference. My face was back to its healthy state. I left the mask formula on my face for another 3 hours before washing it off.
