Vanity Trove September: Just What My Skin Needed (in Full Size, too!)

I'm sure you know by now that you can choose your own samples for Vanity Trove. So let me cut to the chase and show you what I picked this month! There was this awesome serum that I just had to have! As always, I tend to choose my Vanity Trove items during my lunch on Mondays (because that's when they restock), for best results. Don't say I never share my tips with you! ;P

Vanity Trove for September

The star of my Vanity Trove this month is my Payot Elixir Purete Purifying Detoxifying Essence, which is a full-sized item at 30ml. I won't lie, I picked out the Vanity Trove just for this item! It's supposed to help acne and pimples (which everyone knows I suffer from), so I thought, why not? It's something I would at least try. Payot is a French brand, and I've never heard of the brand before, so yay for new brand exploration!

The next products are also full-sized, but I kind of just picked them because I needed to make up 6 samples, and masks seemed like a nice, safe choice. The masks I picked were the Beauty Buffet CO Q10 & Yogurt Facial Mask, the LoveMore Facial Masks - Japanese Soy Milk Enzyme, My Beauty Diary 2-Step Asia Brightening Pack, and the My Beauty Diary Pearl Powder mask. So many masks! Yay!

And the last product I picked was another mask! This is the Herborist Whitening and Revitalizing Mask. It looked really interesting (green gel) so I thought it might be something nice to try.



Lastly, as usual, here is my "mystery gift" that comes with every Vanity Trove I get. This time it is a small carded sample of Kerastase Elixir Ultime Oléo-Complexe, which is nice, as well as two more sachets of the Huiji Fruity Lite Tea (which I also got last month). Both are pleasant products, and I'm happy to have them.



So my thoughts on this month's Trove are that I got one totally awesome product, and a bunch of other "nice to haves". While I do think that picking your own samples means that there is an element of luck involved in what you get, I do think that Vanity Trove is probably the most generous box around, as I've definitely been able to pick more full-sized items than I would have gotten with another more standard beauty box. I'm looking forward to the next Trove for sure!
