My absolutely not Asan eyes (lol) have that type of issue where the crease is hidden by the hooded part, so I always cheat and bring the crease color above the actual crease. And of course using a pale color on lid and a darker one on crease is what works best, even though the one color brought up and blended looks very nice as well.
