Jergens Naturals Aloe Moisturizer: Light But Powerful

Jergens Naturals is one of the brands I really love. I definitely love that the brand is affordable, yet still of good quality. I have vivid memories of myself trekking to Walgreens, and stocking up on my eternal favourite, the Jergens Ultra Healing Dry Skin Moisturizer. In fact, although this post isn't the Ultra Healing Moisturizer, I'm just going to include a photo anyway, because this is the best body moisturizer I've ever tried. It is TEH AWESOMEZ, seriously. And I can say that because I've tried every single moisturizer on the Walgreens shelf as a broke student in the freezing Chicago winters, and never found one I liked as much.

Anyway, of course I don't live in a place with cold freezing winters, but I do still get pretty dry skin from virtually living in an air-conditioned office (and no, I don't actually live in my office, but I do work pretty long hours). So I wanted a moisturizer that was light and not sticky, but still powerful enough to work on my dry skin.

Enter Jergens Natural Aloe Moisturizer. Looks like a dream come true, doesn't it? Not only does it look promising, it even comes in a handy, carry-around tube, that I can carry around in my work bag. Perfect for the office!

The lotion is a white, light liquid with a light pleasant smell, which I vaguely remember as being similar to my beloved Ultra Healing Moisturizer which I used back in the day. Unlike some other moisturizers, it doesn't sting my skin when applied, no matter how dry my skin is. It also applies very smoothly, and absorbs quickly. And after using it, my skin feels very moisturized, without feeling sticky.

If you're looking for an affordable, effective, easy-to-carry, fast-absorbing lotion, I highly reommend Jergens. There isn't anything I don't like about this - no irritating smells, no extraneous bits of glitter or shimmer, not sticky or slow to sink into the skin. And it works. Broke college student memories aside, this is definitely a great moisturizer which I would heartily recommend to everyone.

Thanks everyone for taking part in my Jergens giveaway! We have a winner!

Random.Org has spoken! Congratulations to Sweet Miss Jo! And thank you everyone for taking part! And thanks Jergens for sponsoring the giveaway!

Don't forget you can still check out Jergen's "Skin and Bare It" series! They have those totally HAWT British accents my American friends are always drooling over! In fact, they've released Episode 2. This one is really funny, and even better than Episode 1. In Episode 2 a girl who loves pampering swaps skincare with a girl with just ONE skincare item! This totally made me laugh, especially the girls' look of horror after swapping their skincare.

Anyway, that's it for today! I hope everyone enjoys what's left of the weekend before Monday rolls around!

Jergens has launched an online show, called Skin and Bear It. It consists of five webisodes on Channel 4 (accessible HERE) and the Jergens UK site (accessible HERE). This series is hosted by Anna Richardson, and in each webisode they get two real people with contrasting skin regimes to switch their skincare routines for 3 weeks, and see the results. They also give a simple recipe for DIY skincare. It's pretty interesting watching. In the first episode, they got Jo, a girl who's into all-natural, all-organic skin products, to swap with Charlene, a girl who barely has time for her not-so-natural beauty regime.

Check it out, it's available HERE or HERE for your viewing pleasure.

In tandem with the launch of their new show, Jergens has offered to do a giveaway! One reader of OFAF will win a set of their new hand cream, pictured below:
