Buy Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate And Help Action For AIDS Singapore!

This January, Kiehl's Singapore is partnering with Action for AIDS (AfA), a non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to AIDS prevention, advocacy and support. Don't you just love it when companies do their bit for charity, too? And the good news is, there are not one but two ways you can support Kiehl's efforts!

For each bottle of Midnight Recovery Concentrate you buy, $5 will be donated to AfA.

The first way is to buy a bottle of Midnight Recovery Concentrate. From now to end of January, for every bottle of Special Edition Midnight Recovery Concentrate sold, SGD$5.00 will be donated to AfA. As a token of appreciation, each customer will receive a limited edition key charm. The funds collected will go towards helping AfA's Pregnant Mothers' Fund where work is done to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV and assist diagnosed HIV-positive children to seek immediate medical treatment. The Midnight Recovery Concentrate is pretty darn awesome, and I've blogged about the Midnight Recovery Concentrate before, so you can check my review out if you so wish!

Also, you can upload photos of smiling kids to Instagram with the hashtag #SmileKiehlsSG to donate $0.50 per upload!

The second way is to join in Kiehl's Instagram contest! In this campaign, Kiehl's would like to collect photos of "smiles from children". For every photo submission to Instagram with the hashtag #SmileKiehlsSG from today till 31st January 2014, SGD$0.50 will be donated to the AfA. You might also stand a chance to win a bottle of Midnight Recovery Concentrate, with the limited edition key charm!

So those are your two ways to do your bit for charity, either by stocking up on your favourite Midnight Recovery Concentrate, or by simply Instagramming!

Do Your Bit For Autism When You Buy Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque

I love it when companies engage in charitable activities. Sure, it's easy to take a cynical view of such endeavors too, but as far as I'm concerned, any and every bit helps. So I'm pretty stoked that Kiehl's has teamed up with Elle Magazine to do some good ol' fundraising for the Autism Association (Singapore).

Autism affects 1 in 100 children globally, and with such high statistics, it's quite possible that you, too, may know someone with autism. This year, when you buy a Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque, 100% of the nett proceeds will be donated to raise awareness for the Autism Association (Singapore)!

BeautyBloggers.Org has Launched for Charity

Since we all buy makeup, why not do it for charity? BeautyBloggers.org is the collaboration of almost 50 different beauty bloggers and brands, and is the initiative of the awesome KarlaSugar (I'm sure you've at least seen her blog before). Makeup is auctioned on the BeautyBloggers.org site, and winning bids will be donated directly to Doctors Without Borders.

The auctions are live now, and will close on Monday, December 20 at 5 pm CST. You have to register before you can bid, to discourage "spam" bids. Usernames will be public (because the auction shows the username of the current highest bidder), but first name, last name, and email address will be private. They will only be used to contact the winning bidders. International bidders are welcome, too.

Here is a list of donors. Thanks to them for donating!

Afrobella, A Girl's Gotta Spa!, AlyWalansky.com, Armani Beauty, Bay Area Style File, Beauté Cosmetics, Beauty Alchemist, The Beauty Look Book, Bobbi Brown, Cafe Makeup, Cargo, China Glaze, EnKore, Estee Lauder, For the Love of Beauty, Givenchy, Gloss Menagerie, Gouldylox Reviews, Grace Gold for AOL StyleList, KarlaSugar, KraseyBeauty, Lancome, Leonor Greyl, The Makeup Girl, Miss Whoever You Are, Musings of a Muse, My Lips But Better, Nadine Jolie, The Non-Blonde, Older Girl Beauty, OPI, Out in a Pout, Pink Sith, Prime Beauty, Product Girl, Pursebuzz, Renee Rouleau, Sasquatch Swatch, Sicka Than Average, Spoiled Pretty, Talika, Three Custom Color Specialists, and Votre Vu
