Elizabeth Arden's Flawless Finish Perfectly Nude Makeup is one of the brand's new foundations, with SPF 15 to boot. It touts high coverage, a luminous finish, and a formula that moisturizes skin for 24 hours. With that, I was pretty excited to get my hands on this and give it a good whirl!

Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Perfectly Nude Makeup Foundation: Good coverage with a luminous finish.

In Singapore we have 8 shades. You have #1 Linen (pale yellow beige), #2 Alabaster (pale neutral beige, less yellow than Linen), #3 Vanilla Shell (light beige with some pink, a shade darker than Linen/Alabaster), #4 Cream Nude (medium beige with neutral undertones, a shade darker than Vanilla Shell), #5 Natural (medium beige with cool undertones) #6 Warm Sunbeige (medium beige with yellow undertone), #9 Buff (medium-deep beige with neutral undertone), and #14 Cameo (medium-deep beige with cool undertone). Roughly speaking, shades #1, #2, and #3 are the lighter shades, with shades #4, #5, and #6 being the medium shades, and #9 and #14 being deep shades. There is also a mix of undertone between the shades, so everyone's covered!

Star Lash Perfect Touch Eyeliner Pen Review and Swatches

Star Lash, a brand owned by local company BeautyDirect, has launched their first pen eyeliner! You may know Star Lash for their range of false lashes (if you visit their website, you'll see that they do have a lot, like over 50 designs!), so this is one of their comparatively fewer non-lash products. As such, I was pretty excited to try this out and see how it was! The shade that I got was Rich Black Waterproof.

Star Lash Perfect Touch Eyeliner Pen: A new accompaniment to your Star Lash false lashes!

This eyeliner came with a lot of expectations, so I had to immediately put it to the test to see how it performs! You know how a good pen eyeliner is supposed to be - draw nice lines, be well-pigmented, be fairly budgeproof, and be fairly waterproof. I decided to take it through a series of tests!

Cirque Bejeweled: Deep Blue Holographic Polish!

Summer is officially here in Singapore (it's really very hot!) and with the heat, means holographic polishes! You guys know how much I love my holos, so I thought I'd show you one more holo that I'm loving right now! This is Cirque Bejeweled. Doesn't it just look so lovely?

Cirque Bejeweled: A deep blue holographic nail polish.

Cirque is one of the indie brands that I've gotten into lately. They're a little pricey, like indies tend to be. I tend to buy my Cirques from either Mei Mei Signatures or Luxola. Between the two, Luxola is more pricey, so if I'm buying from there I only ever wait until they have a 30% or larger discount (at which point the price would be the same as Mei Mei Signatures). Both have free shipping, so it just depends on which site carries the colour I want, and which site has it cheaper.

L'Oreal Mat Magique Matte Transforming Powder Review and Swatches

L'Oreal's Mat Magique Matte Transforming Powder is an upcoming addition to L'Oreal's Magique line (you might have seen the Nude Magique and Lumi Magique products), and as the name suggests, it is a matte powder foundation that is touted to keep you shine-free for up to 12 hours! It also has SPF34 PA+++, so it has some UV protection too. One of the marquee ingredients in the product is Perlite, which L'Oreal advertises as a volcanic rock-based ingredient that contributes greatly to the oil control properties.

L'Oreal Mat Magique Matte Transforming Powder claims to provide up to 12hrs of oil control.

The product is shine resistant, and a matte finish, and it is touted as being good for girls who engage in a lot of outdoor activity or spend time outdoors, since it has both mattifying properties as well as UV protection. This is also a Southeast-Asia only release, geared towards ladies in the region who have to deal with the heat and humidity. And although it's not going to be launched elsewhere yet, I think that it's probably also great for summers worldwide.

I have lots of swatches from Elizabeth Arden's Summer 2014 Summer Escape Collection for you guys! This includes the Pure Finish Summer Escape Bronzing Powders, Pure Finish Cool Radiance Highlighter, Pure Finish Cream Eye Shadows, and Beautiful Color Gloss Sticks! I was at a bloggers' event, and we were supposed to give ourselves a makeover using the Summer 2014 products. And I did that, but I was also busy swatching, because that's what bloggers do, right?

Elizabeth Arden Summer 2014's Summer Escape has a wide range of products to offer.

As you can tell, I pretty much swatched everything I could get my hands on! So yes, there is a lot for us to get started on, so without further ado, let's start! The swatches are in indoors warm lighting, and I've tried to correct them as much as I could, but if they aren't perfect (and they aren't), please forgive the lighting!

Kiehl's Micro-Blur Skin Perfector Review and Ingredients Analysis

Kiehl's Micro-Blur Skin Perfector is the newest product from Kiehl's. It arrived with the most intriguing blurb ever - it's touted as both a skincare as well as a makeup product! As a makeup product, it's supposed to "diminish the appearance of pores" and "refines skin texture". As a skincare product, it' "provides long-lasting pore and texture correction". So I just had to review this!

Kiehl's Micro-Blur Skin Perfector: Both a primer and a skincare product

Kiehl's claims on its website that its product has "light reflectors to give skin a more even and pristine appearance and help makeup last longer". This makes it sound like a primer. Kiehl's also claims on its website that "The effect is far from just being cosmetic. In just four weeks, you'll notice a significant reduction in the number and size of pores, more refined skin texture, as well as a reduction in fine lines." So it's also a skincare product for pores! I just had to investigate this, and where better to start than the ingredients list?

Apivita 24 Hour Moisturizing Cream for Normal/Dry Skin Review and Ingredients Analysis

I got Apivita's 24 Hour Moisturizing Cream for Normal/Dry Skin sometime back, and I realized that although I've had it for awhile, and I've really enjoyed using it, but I've never actually reviewed it! So I thought I would fix this ASAP, like now because something I like so much really should be featured on my blog!

Apivita 24 Hour Moisturizing Cream for Normal/Dry Skin: Another product in a line of Apivita products I love so far.

Apivita is a Greek brand with a natural slant, and a lot of their products are often touted as natural. Now, I'm not particularly fixated on whether my skincare is natural or lot, because whether a skincare product is effective or not is not really correlated to how "natural" (however you define it) it is, and also because oftentimes the word "natural" is just another form of branding, and "natural" products may not really be formulated all that differently from non-natural ones. But Apivita products generally impress me because of their efficacy - I've felt that every product I've tried from them thus far has worked, and I've liked every product I've tried so far.

Apivita 24 Hour Moisturizing Cream for Normal to Dry Skin Jar
Apivita 24 Hour Moisturizing Cream for Normal/Dry Skin: Despite the jar packaging, I do like this product.

The Apivita 24 Hour Moisturizing Cream for Normal/Dry Skin is no exception to this rule. It comes in a rather heavy glass jar, and although this isn't my favourite mode of packaging, I let it slide because I do like the product. It is indeed hydrating, as we can see from the ingredients list.

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Dynamic Hydration Serum & Rich Cream Review

Vichy's latest range of Aqualia Thermal skincare products, has the tagline "Dynamic Hydration", and as you might guess, the range promises hydration for all skin types. There are a few products in the range, the key ones being the Aqualia Thermal Serum and the three types of Aqualia Thermal Creams, the Rich Cream (for drier skin types) and the Light Cream (for oilier skin types), and a Night Cream. There's also other products including a Lip Care, an Eye Cream, and a Day Care Lotion with UV Protection. So you know that within the Dynamic Hydration Aqualia Thermal range, there's something you're bound to like!

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Dynamic Hydration Serum and Rich Cream

The "Dynamid Hydration" product claims are quite interesting - the products give up to 48 hours of hydration but don't feel heavy or thick. I have for review, the Aqualia Thermal Dynamic Hydration Serum and Rich Cream. I thought I'd test both of them and review them for you - and of course knowing me, we start off right at the ingredients list!

Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipsticks Swatches and Review

Elizabeth Arden's Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipsticks have been out for awhile now, but I've been kind of slow to review them since they were introduced at the end of last year. Yes it has been that long, but better late than never! There are over 40 shades in three finishes, Cream, Shimmer, and Pearl, to cater to every preference and skintone. Most of these shades have medium-to-full coverage, so yes, you can expect to get a good amount of pigmentation from these.

Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick

One of the things I love about the Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick is the gorgeous Elizabeth Arden-style packaging. The shiny gold square tube is very luxe, and feels nice and substantial when held. I have three colours from one finish each (so you get to see the differences between all the finishes) - Desert Rose (Pearl), Breathless (Cream), and Rose Berry (Shimmer). But packaging aside, the colours are lovely too.
